Hammonds Wood Floors, Inc., was started in 1982 and, since its inception, has been committed to being the premiere Texas designer and installer of custom wood floors. Now, in the new millennium, the company has more than 25 employees dedicated to the high-quality service that has come to be expected from the company. Through acquired knowledge, diligent work, professional training, and the company’s allegiance with the National Wood Flooring Association, there is a consistency of workmanship at Hammonds Wood Floors, Inc., that cannot be found anywhere else. The history of the company is built on a firm foundation upon which the company continues to grow. We are fully insured and licensed. We also stand behind all our work by providing a guaranteed warranty on all labor and a factory warranty on the product. We not only install floors but also sell them.

Company History

Hammonds Wood Floors, Inc., was started in 1982. The company’s founder, Marty Hammonds, has been involved with home construction and wood flooring since 1966.  As a San Antonio teenager, he spent summers working in construction with his uncle’s company. In high school, he went on to work with a local flooring business. At the flooring business,  he started as a helper picking up trash, and then worked his way up to installing floors, conducting office work, and scheduling crews. After 13 years as a top salesman, Marty left the flooring company to strike out on his own and open Hammonds Wood Floors, Inc.

Since its inception, Hammonds Wood Floors, Inc., has been committed to being the premiere Texas designer and installer of custom wood floors. Now, in the new millennium, the company has more than 25 employees dedicated to the high quality of service that is expected from the company.

Hammonds Wood Floors, Inc., has become renowned for its floors — the likes of which are seen not only in the houses of famous musicians, sports figures, and politicians, but also in our children’s gymnasiums, places of business, and convention centers. Through acquired knowledge, diligent work, professional training, and the company’s association with the National Wood Flooring Association and World Floor Covering Association, there is a consistency of workmanship at Hammonds Wood Floors, Inc., that cannot be found anywhere else.
